“Everyone has a book in them.” That’s what someone told me recently, and you’ve probably heard it before too. Is it true? Well, yes and no.
It’s not true that anyone who’s literate can write a book that other people actually want to read. That’s like saying anyone who can walk can do ballet!
Book writing is a craft. It’s hard work. It takes a lot of time and energy and imagination to shape ideas and record them in a way that allows people to access the inner world of the writer.
But yes, it’s true that everyone has a story in them. Even you and me. And some of us will feel compelled to write our story down, and share it with other people.
I love to help other writers, and so, over time, I’ll be adding more resources here to help you with the craft of writing, and the process of publishing – whether on a blog, in ebooks or in print. I hope you’ll stop by to comment and help me as well, and the other writers who visit these pages!
